You hid deftly behind the couch, cowering with your danish friend, Mathias.  Your hand was plastered over the Dane’s mouth in an attempt to get him to shut up.  It wouldn’t do to have your plan spoiled before it could begin.  In all honesty, you probably should have just left, but you had to see his reaction.

Into the living room waltzed an unsuspecting Lukas.  His hair pulled back with that little cross clip and his face as flat as ever, your boyfriend was the picture of perfection.  And you just had to mess with him.  The blond had a seat just in front of you and reached to grab the remote.  You had made sure the channel was on one of those stupid reality tv shows Mathias watched that Lukas so hated.  So did you, but that wasn’t really the point.

“Stupid Dane.” Lukas mumbled as he reached for the remote.

Tiny contraption in hand, Lukas made to change the channel.  But even as his fingers pushed the buttons the channel remained unchanged.  He couldn’t even get the buttons to budge.  He looked frustratedly down at the device.  Pulling it up for closer inspection, the Norwegian noticed something taped to the back.  Lukas flipped it over to see whatever it was.  Turns out it was a small slip of paper with one word written on it.

Loki’d.

For Lukas this trend continued the rest of the day.  First the super glued remote, then cling film over his bedroom door, his car keys encased in jello, and his shoes tied to the ceiling fan.  With each little prank he found a new stip of paper.  Each one had some variation of the first.

Loki’d.

The word was beginning to haunt him.  He was almost starting to think the actual god of mischief was messing with him. But these little things were a little beneath the prankster god. So Lukas set out to discover who was messing with him. It couldn’t be Mathias, he wouldn’t have the guts.  But who?

You were busy in the backyard preparing you next set up for Lukas.  You giggled quietly to yourself, pondering how long it was going to take for him to figure out it was you.  This one was your last, and, personally you thought, your best.  With care, you had marked a red X on the grass near one of the bushes.  You stood up to admire your handiwork before you went to hide in the bush.

“So it was you.” A monotone voice sounded in your ear as a pair of arms wrapped around your waist.

You spun in those arms to face who had grabbed you.  You gasped in shock and your (e/c) eyes widened as they met with dull blue.

“Lu... Lukas what are you talking about?” You stuttered, trying to look away.

“You’ve been the ones playing these tricks on me.  It may have slipped past for a while, but I recognised your handwriting.”  He explained.  “Mind telling me why?”

“It wasn’t me. It was Loki.  He did it all.” You forced down your giggles as you tried to explain away the accusations. This is what he got for teaching you mythology after you went to see the Avengers with Alfred.

“I don’t think so, (y/n).”  His dull blue eyes stared you down.

You gave up on holding back the giggles and wrapped your arms around his neck, snuggling into his warm chest.  Lukas stiffened just a fraction, but eventually moved to hold you closer to him.  Every now and again you still caught him off guard with you affection.  It had been two years since you had first gotten him to say yes to dating you.

“But, Lukas, Loki still has one more trick up his sleeve.” You snickered as you pulled back from his embrace.

“Oh really?”

You scampered back to the bush you had intended on hiding in to pull out your weapon.  Aiming carefully, you took your bow and shot at your boyfriend’s knee.  You would have to thank Allistor for letting you borrow his training arrows with the flat tips.  You hit your target easily.  A rather large grin spread across your face as you put the box down and stepped back over to Lukas.

The blond Norwegian was staring at you with wide eyes.  He knew you knew full well what that meant.

Once more you wrapped your arms around him, lacing your fingers behind his neck.  You leaned your head in to whisper in his ear.

“You’ve been loki’d again.”

But you were rather surprised at his reaction.  Quicker than you could believe, you were in his arms and were being dipped to the ground.  Lukas arms encased you tightly, keeping you from falling.

“Thor disagrees.” He whispered to you.  His face was centimetres from your own for a few moments more before Lukas closed the gap.  His lips carefully melded with yours in the dance the two of you had perfected over the years.

Finally pulling back, he looked down at you.  His blue eyes looking at you with more emotion than he usually ever showed.

“Jeg elsker deg, (y/n).”

“I love you too, Lukas. Is this a yes then?”

He shook his head and let out a quiet chuckle.  “How could I say no to my goddess of mischief?”

“You can call me Loki.”
AHA!!! Finally shoved my procrastinating butt into gear and got this done! This be my entry for ~roro0098's Nordic Contest. I've never written any of them before, so I hope he's relatively in character. I had a lot of fun with this one. I love Loki, he's the best. :iconlokidplz:
